EXAMINATIONS AND UNIT TESTS

Examinations and unit tests are compulsory for all students. The academic year is divided in to two semesters and at the end of each semester there will be an examination and in each semester there will be two unit tests. Thus an academic year will have two examinations and four unit tests in total. In all the examinations 40% of marks in each subject is required for a pass. Students who are absent from an examination for any reason will not be re-examined. If a pupil is not able to appear for the whole or part of an examination for valid reasons, his/her case will be considered on the strength of the year's record. In case a student is found using unfair means in an examination he/she will be rewarded zero in that paper and will be debarred from appearing for the rest of the papers. Repetition of the same offence will result in dismissal. Results of the examinations are final. Parents and guardians are not expected to dictate any terms to the school authorities regarding their child's promotion or detention, which is decided on the performance of the child.
