Capacity Building Programme on Classroom Management 

A training session on the Capacity Building Programme on Classroom Management was conducted on 13 and 14 May, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Sr Sec School, NTPC, Dibiyapur. Teachers from St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, NTPC Dibiyapur and St Francis School, Auraiya attended the training session. The two-day-session was given by Mr Amar Singh (PGT English Teacher at G.D Goenka International School, Surat) and Dr Meenakshi Narula ( The Principal of Shemford Futuristic k12 School, Auraiya). 

The training programme included many activities, specially group activities which made it more interesting and effective. Teachers were given some questionnaires that helped them to measure and evaluate their performance. Teachers got a chance to discuss some challenges they face as a teacher and remedies were discussed. Teachers shared the way they manage a classroom effectively to create an appropriate and comfortable learning environment for their students in the classroom. The methods shared by the resource persons and the experienced teachers who attended the training session were helpful for the other teachers to adopt them in their teaching. It was indeed a programme for the teachers to analyse their performance as a teacher and to enhance their teaching skills.
